Muncie Youth Build

Community initiative that targets 16-24 year-olds in Muncie to provide experience in construction with a housing rehabilitation project. Through hands-on experience with  EcoRehab's STEP program, participants gain valuable professional & leadership skills. Professional Development workshops are facilitated by Shafer Leadership Academy and  training adheres to the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Core Curriculum via two courses at Ivy Tech Community College. Career Coaching via Eastern Indiana Works as well as post-completion career development services & follow-up services
