Let your child choose books that interest them, even if they're slightly below their current level. This can build confidence and a love for reading. |
COMPREHENSION
Ask questions about what they've read to check their understanding. Discuss the main ideas, characters, and events in the story. |

This can help them with fluency, pronunciation, and comprehension. You can start by reading a paragraph and then having them read the next. |
